Glen grew up in Southbridge, MA, and worked at a small nine hole Donald Ross Golf Club called Cohasse Country Club. He attended Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts receiving an associate degree in turfgrass management and a Bachelor of Science degree in plant and soil science. During and after completing college, his real work experience began at Quaker Ridge Golf Club located in Scarsdale, NY as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. While living at the golf course, he had the privilege of being a part of the 1997 USGA Walker Cup. Other tournaments that Glen had the pleasure of participating in the preparation of were the PGA Championship held at Winged Foot and the LPGA JAL Big Apple Classic held at Wykagyl Golf Club. After leaving Quaker Ridge in search of broader experience, Glen took the position of Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Shaker Hills Golf Club in Harvard, MA. After one year as the Assistant, he was promoted to Golf Course Superintendent and enjoyed five more successful seasons there. After Glen's fifth season as the Superintendent, the opportunity to move to Cohasset Golf Club arose. Glen has recently achieved the status of Certified Golf Course Superintendent. His wife, Tessa, was raised in Sandwich, MA, and is thrilled to be closer to the ocean. Tessa is presently the Director of Business Development for a small start up company. Glen and Tessa have two sons Braden and Max. They currently reside in Marshfield Hills and enjoy living in this area very much.
